One Response to An intensity cartogram of 2008 US presidential election

This election map is truly well designed. Without distortion this approach solves both the problem of mixed colors neutralizing to a level of meaningless inseparable gray, as well as using an additional brightness value to counter pointless emphasis on barely populated regions. Bravo! I hope this approach catches on with more publications.
