		<description>I do not agree with the conclusions here.  China's west could change their patterns of grazing.  Intensive, very high density, short time herding can use the animals as the incredible grass tenders they are to keep the grasses alive and fight desertification.  In fact they must do this or just join the rest of smarming people lost to our own ecologies.  Luckily there are examples of this in the US and Africa as well as some in Mongolia.
